2-Day Course for Psychotherapist and Educators
Learning How We Create Change and Learning with Others More Effectively
This course will link the Feldenkrais Method with counseling(psychotherapy) and teaching.
Learning how to learn through movement is the basis for all learning that humans are involved in. It includes relationship and exploration of the world around us. In this course participants will experience what this means and they will be able to apply it to their professional practices.
ATM – Participants will enjoy the verbally directed, easy to do movement lessons developed by Moshe Feldenkrais, Ph.D. This is a revolutionary approach to human functioning.
These experiences are also known as Mindful Movements Practices , experiences that create self-awareness. The ability to know what you are doing while you are experiencing yourself. This kind of practice and self knowing changes how the mind functions and actually alters the brain. Neuroscience studies demonstrate exceptional changes in the brain that relate to well being and improved interpersonal relationships.
Participants experience calm, focused attention, enhanced breathing, improved posture and movement.
